A Hit-the-Dot Game: Can You Pick the Dot in the Middle?

Look at the dots and pick the one in the middle. Good luck!

Games like this could actively improve your brain power. (Correction: there is little evidence that such games improve everyday thinking. In 2016 the US Federal Trade Commission fined the maker of Lumosity $2 million, saying it “did not have the science to back up its ads”.) Due to the everyday duties of our life, parts of our brain can become a little unused.

As we get older it becomes more important than ever to ensure that we use all the parts of the brain and keep them functioning until we get into our much older years. (Correction: the idea that parts of the brain sit unused is a myth; neurologist Barry Gordon told Scientific American that “we use virtually every part of the brain”.)

Look at the dots and pick the one in the middle. Did you pass? Let us know in comments.
