When a nurse from the neighboring hospital, Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, heard about the boy's story, she did something incredible: she offered to donate part of her liver to save Brayden's life.
Fortunately, the nurse named Loritz was a perfect match for Brayden, and the procedure was successful. Little Brayden gave Loritz a big farewell hug to thank her for saving his life.
