A composer by the name of Jim Wilson has recorded the sound of crickets and then slowed down the recording, revealing something so amazing. The crickets sound like they are singing the most beautiful chorus in perfect harmony.

This recording contains two tracks played at the same time: The first is the natural sound of crickets played at regular speed while the second is the slowed down version of crickets’ voices.

Update: 03/12/2013

There is more to this recording that meets the ear.

“This turns out to be a recording of crickets slowed down by Tom Waits, an approximation of what they might sound like if they lived as long as humans. “What you hear is like human voices, or choirs from heaven,” Wilson says.” – The Guardian

Here’s an explanation of how the track was produced — and it’s nearly as mesmerizing as the original.

This Montblanc Timewalker watch has a stop seconds function, so you can synchronize it with rolex replica sale signal. You can then return the main hour hand to its correct position via the quick reset function, using the crown pulled out to its middle position. Although there are no odd numbers in the ring of hours for the second rolex submariner replica, the even numbered hours are relatively easy to read. The same breitling replica sale be said for the applied indices that mark the hours on the main dial. Nighttime legibility is good but we felt that the designers could have left out the luminous markings for the replica watches elapsed minutes scale.
