The Nijigen no Mori theme park on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, announced its Naruto attraction for April 20, 2019.
The attraction recreates the "Konohagakure no Sato" village with a giant Hokage Iwa/Hokage Rock and 1/1 scale character statues.
Ramen Ichiraku also opened in the area. You can even buy the ramen bowl.
The opening announcement and today's visit are separate
The announcement introduced the themed setting and the features planned for the launch. It shows how a fictional place was translated into a physical attraction; the section below describes the attraction as the park presented it in 2024 and 2026. The design is interesting in its own right through recognizable landmarks and the choices that make visitors feel inside the story.
Recognition helps a visitor enter the story
A recognizable landmark gives the fictional place a centre. Life-sized figures and themed food then extend the reference into activities a visitor can encounter at ordinary scale. The attraction today
The attraction is called NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-Zato. In a guide published in May 2026, the park still described the giant Hokage Rock at the back of the plaza, which is lit with projection mapping at night, life-sized figures of characters from the TV anime, and the Ramen Ichiraku shop, where visitors can be photographed at the counter or under the noren curtain. Other areas include training-style athletic courses, a three-dimensional maze and zones themed on the Akatsuki and Orochimaru. In 2024 the operator also described mission rallies in which visitors solve puzzles from scrolls to repair disrupted chakra seals.
