Players Are Getting Excited Over Monopoly’s Cheater Edition... Sounds More Legit!

How do you play Monopoly's cheaters’ version? The game's objective still is to be the player who has the most money in the end. However, players can skip extra spaces after they roll the dice to avoid squares they do not want to land on, they can actively try to avoid paying rent to other players, and they can slip a few extra bills from the bank when nobody's looking.

As the standard Community Chest and Chance cards, the Cheater’s Version will also come with 15 cards. There will be five cheat cards in the middle of the board at any point in the game. Players can try to fulfill these cards' purposes at any point in the game.

Here is a list of several cheats in the game:

• Placing a hotel on one of your properties
• Stealing money from the bank
• Removing a hotel from somebody else’s property
• Taking an extra $100 from the bank when you pass go
• Collecting rent for someone else’s property
• Moving some other player’s token rather than your own on your turn
• Giving somebody less money than you owe them

If a player gets away with their cheat, they aren't punished but rewarded. Nevertheless, if they get caught, there will be consequences. On the back of the cheat cards, there's a list of rewards and punishments for every cheat.

So if you have never been good at this game – or if you are a massive cheat – this edition is probably for you!
