Deer Comes Running To Help After Hearing Newborn Baby Crying

Amazing footage shared on TikTok shows a crying baby and its mother trying to comfort it while a deer runs from the wood to attend to the infant. The video with the footage has gathered over 28 million views!

Hanna Burton, the baby's mother seen in the footage, was sitting on the deck of her New Lexington home in Ohio when her baby boy, Charlie was crying.

Charlie was laying on the deck while Hanna was trying to comfort him. Suddenly, a wild deer appeared straight from the woods and running towards Charlie. Hanna soon came to the realisation that the deer was approaching in an effort to help!

Hanna can be heard saying:

"Nope! Nope! Nope! This is my baby. This one's my baby. Hi, momma!"

She then says to Charlie:

"She thinks you're her baby!"

Hanna captured the remarkable encounter and shared it with the caption:

"When you almost have to throw down with a momma deer because your baby starts crying outside."

Although most viewers found the footage to be heartwarming, many criticised Hanna for the way she acted in the situation. However, she soon let everyone know that Charlie was peacefully sleeping on the deck.

One person commented on the deer's reaction, noting that:

"Deers are protective, probably thought it was a smaller animal in distress. They'll do everything to protect rabbits among others. They're so kind-hearted!"
