A distinct trend of “animation” is circulating, showing how people desire a particular kind of easily digestible art.
In other words, there is this format of bite-sized, entertaining “smart-phone content” where an article has, for example, 36 illustrations created by a particular artist, about a very relatable topic. This article is more like a social commentary on this phenomenon.
Brazilian artist Crislane Passos has been doing his thing, succeeding by drawing comics about a couple of characters he created named Max and Julia, who are “hopelessly in love with each other.”
Passos was going to write a novel based on these characters, but the final result was this.
