Federico Babina decided to create a unique project titled Archiatric, in order to illustrate 16 different mental disorders and illnesses as works of architecture.
An animated video uploaded on the Barcelona-based digital artist's YouTube page further describes the purpose of the images.
Babina is known for architecture-inspired work, using a unique geometric style that is clearly influenced by cubism. His designs are often surreal and also humorous.

Maybe I'm too right brained and technical, but I am not seeing it. As one who has bi polar 2, that didn't make sense, then again, none of them did. Though I truly appreciate most art, this seemed like it was simple to explain things that are very complicated, I wasn't getting it.
ReplyDeleteI think most of them are dead on. If you're bipolar, even if you didn't get that one labeled bipolar (which actually isn't that accurate), look at the one that is labeled depression. You should get that one... where everything is just melting down and droopy. Anxiety is a house chained and locked up tight with barbed wire keeping the bad out. OCD is everything has to be perfectly patterned in place. Alzheimer is where everything is decaying away. Schizophrenia is where everything is broken into odd shaped pieces that don't quite fit together right. Hope that helps you see them a little easier.
DeleteThank you for any other informative web site. The place else could I get that kind of information written in such an ideal approach? I have a challenge that I’m simply now operating on, and I’ve been at the glance out for such information. I am impressed by the details that you have on this website. Thanks!
