You were rambling through the comments, but I ...Hi. You were rambling through the comments, but I just want to emphasize one thing. Are you happy? Are you living a life you like? Because if you aren't, then you're not successful, you aren't on the right track, and you need to change something in your life. Period. That's the most basic thing this article stated (#13). Because everything you've just said is allowed if you're happy when you done it. For example, if all you do is just sleep all day, and you feel your life is content and complete and happy like that, without all the guilty pressure, then it maybe your success way. But if when you done it, you feel guilty because you feel your life can be more than just this but for some twisted philosophical reason you choose not to do that, and you still feel guilty after that, then, no, all your philosophical reasons has no meaning. You still have something you need to change in your life. Or are you saying now that you're "happy" living a life you don't happy with? This article is calling all people to do some introspection on themselves. The writer is not forcing his to do list on you. The writer is trying to make you realize that you have to DO your own unique to do list, not just realizing that it's there. That's what the writer said about living a life you like. Because if you don't do your own to do list, you WON'T living a life you like. The writer isn't trying to make you a different person. The writer is trying to make you a BETTER you. Still you, but better. Is a richer red not a red? Is a dark blue not a blue? If you want to really be able to reminisce upon your life at your final breath without shame, to think that you have finished your unique "to done list", then you will listen to this article.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7064777598104498166.post-21713400980162320532014-10-10T05:29:43.620-07:002014-10-10T05:29:43.620-07:00A life lived in happiness is a life not wasted. There's no such thing as "can't" or "have to," merely our choices and their subsequent consequences.

I've come to admit that I, personally, have no productive passions in terms of financial stability. Sure, some people can get paid to play video games, travel the world, hike or climb, but how often does that happen and is it always mutually exclusive to something you enjoy? Not necessarily.

While a lot of valid points are put forth here, the entirety of it is not nearly this black and white. We are part of a great symbiosis and our success is only measured by our own thoughts and designs. Be happy.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02072555471474589722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7064777598104498166.post-56578759072526343732014-08-16T19:45:33.959-07:002014-08-16T19:45:33.959-07:00We weren't born with a to-do list, we were bro...We weren't born with a to-do list, we were brought into this world as pure as we'll ever be, a clean slate. It's now up to us to fill a mental page with all the memories we've created, all the laughs we've shared, and everything we've done, both good and bad. The only thing that's asked of us as human beings, is that right before we take our final breath, we're able to reminisce upon our lives at our own unique "have done list", so that we can die complete. That's mankind's real purpose.Daltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07650171405169456621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7064777598104498166.post-40492963592207305452014-08-16T19:15:14.399-07:002014-08-16T19:15:14.399-07:00To your eyes I may be wasting my life, but that is...To your eyes I may be wasting my life, but that is your opinion. Sure, I do many things I shouldn't be doing, and I frequently spend time doing unproductive things, but that's how I choose to live My life! Maybe drinking, staying up until ridiculous hours, eating badly at times, and doing things that are genuinely bad for my body will come back to haunt me, but that'll be a lesson learned, and thus I'll grow as a person. Those are the things that make me a human being. I don't want to live a life where every aspect is already planned out for me, this isn't a sit-com. My life is ever-changing, I have no idea what's going to happen tomorrow, other than having to work, and that is how I want live. Each day is exciting. and full of surprises, some good and some bad, but but both are a new experiences and new lessons, and they all play a role in defining who I am. No time is really wasted if I'm enjoying myself, and no life is worthless or unfulfilled if it's full of genuinely nice, supportive people, even if they're right there with me wasting time.

You concluded your article by telling the readers to change the way they think, and then to change their lives, but if they read your article, and makes changes accordingly, are they even their own person? Or are they for all intensive purposes a clone of you, or at least who you want them to be? No mind is the same, and nobody has the same goals or dreams in life, so let them mold their own lives, let them succeed and fail, and let them experience every day as it is. The little things like random interactions, jokes I'll never remember, and nights that I've blurred away are what define me, certainly not how much money I make, how healthy my meals are, or how well I simply "blend in" to the materialistic world we've grown to tolerate. That is not what humans being were put on earth to do, because we weren't put here to do anything in particular, we just have to live.Daltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07650171405169456621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7064777598104498166.post-28603731222109889412014-05-30T21:52:32.132-07:002014-05-30T21:52:32.132-07:00I'm spending too much time on doing things I s...I'm spending too much time on doing things I shouldn't be doing…like reading this drivel.Justinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12928904111891664594noreply@blogger.com
