This Is The Mind-Blowing Winning Trick At The World Championships of Magic

Watching a six-minute YouTube video is too much to ask when the web serves up bite-size snippets of endless entertainment requiring only a few seconds of our attention. However, close-up magician Eric Chien managed to squeeze so many impossible magic tricks into his World Championships of Magic-winning routine that we genuinely wish it went on for a bit longer.

The International Federation of Magic Societies holds its World Championships of Magic only once every three years, so you can imagine that lots of illusionists were vying for the grand prize. However, Chien’s ‘Ribbon’ routine is a non-stop barrage of lightning-quick illusions, leaving you with little time to understand what you just saw before his next trick baffles your brain all over again. And because it’s all close-up, sleight of hand magic, you can’t just assume a team of hidden assistants is making it all happen backstage.
