There comes a time in our loves when realizing and accepting the sad truths of the world can only improve the way you think of it. Some of us learn these truths early in life on while others will happen upon them in their own time. Regardless of when you learn them, understanding them and embracing them will ultimately give you more power and control in life.
1) You will never be 100% satisfied with your life.
It doesn’t matter how much you are successful and how much do you earn. You will never be fully satisfied with your life. This is human nature. So you don’t have to worry about it. Just remember that a new day will come up with new hopes. So just go with the stream of life and try to compromise on certain things.
2) Life isn’t fair.
Life will hand you lemons, often when you least expect it. The sooner you embrace this harsh truth, the better prepared you’ll be to handle tough situations that are sure to arise.
3) You will fail sometimes.
The faster you accept this, the faster you can get on with being brilliant. You’ll never be 100% sure it will work, but you can always be 100% sure doing nothing won’t work. So get out there and do something! Either you succeed or you learn a vital lesson. Win – Win.
4) You are growing through experience.
Over time you will find that life isn’t necessarily any easier or harder than you thought it was going to be; it’s just that the easy and the hard aren’t exactly the way you had anticipated, and don’t always occur when you expect them to. This isn’t a bad thing; it makes life interesting. With a positive attitude you will always be pleasantly surprised.
5) The world only cares about what it can get from you.
If you want to know why society seems to shun you, or why you seem to get no respect, it's because society is full of people who need things. They need houses built, they need food to eat, they need entertainment, they need fulfilling sexual relationships. It's a cruel world, but there are always people who are worth your time and things that are worth fighting for. Go for them!
